This month I'm doing Junk Free June and raising money for the Cancer Society. I already eat kinda healthy, I try to stay away from processed foods, I eat whole heads of broccoli, I don't drink pop but I do enjoy a chocolate biscuit or 10. By doing Junk Free June I'm attempting to break that chocolate biscuit habit and just become more aware of what I eat.
I've decided that as I raise money I will post more and more Junk Free recipes thus challenging myself as a baker also. I'll raise money for a great cause and improve my baking. Winning!
This recipe is super duper easy and contains no flours, dairy, sugar and eggs "so what does is contain, air?!". Yup. Lot's of air smart ass.
3/4 cup Quick Oats
2 Tablespoons Sunflower seeds
2 Tablespoons Desiccated Coconut
1/4 cup Ground Almonds
a pinch of Sea Salt and Cinnamon
Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees and line a baking tray.
Mash the 2 bananas together, mix in all the other ingredients super well.
Put tablespoon sized amounts onto the baking tray and bake for 10mins. Done. Easy Peasy!
