A few Sundays ago my gal pal, Katie from Of Noble Nature, and I drove out to Makara on the most glorious day. Mainly because I'd had a spark of inspiration from a photo I'd seen on Instagram. I'd also been on the hunt for a project that the both of us could work on together. I wanted to keep the shoot simple, clean and the colour tones deep and rich. Which, when I saw the rust panels I got a little excited!
We did two small shoots, a causal one in a paddock, with the longest grass and tonnes of bugs. The next was a slightly more formal shoot, on a hill in an old building that over looked the wind farm which, had rusted steel panels and concrete pillars. Both locations were the perfect back drop for the simple but perfect bridal bouquet that Katie had created for the shoot.
p.s the amazing (Karen Walker!) navy dress she's wearing is her wedding dress!
